The whole composition so completely convincing as a natural gemstone, so utterly resolved, it reads like the finest banded blue and green agate or a piece of polished Larimar in the most beautiful, cool coastal palette — the periwinkle-blue shifting from the softest, most delicate lavender-blue in bright light to a deeper, more saturated blue in shadow, the sage-green and aqua bands adding a beautiful, cool freshness that makes the whole piece feel completely, convincingly geological.
