Breathtakingly dramatic, deeply geological, and utterly magnificent — this handcrafted fused glass pendant fills a tall, generously domed elongated rectangle with vivid carnelian-red and warm burnt-orange in bold, gestural ribbons like the most beautiful polished carnelian or a piece of banded red jasper, deep near-black sweeping through in bold, confident arcs like the most dramatic dark veining, warm olive-gold threading through in luminous, organic brushstrokes — and then, the most extraordinary detail: a burst of crisp luminous white and pale aqua-blue nestled in the centre like a geode cavity or a vein of quartz running through the stone.

The whole composition so completely convincing as a natural gemstone, so utterly alive, it reads like the finest polished picture jasper or a piece of banded carnelian agate in the most beautiful, rich, earthy palette — like holding a piece of the canyon walls in the palm of your hand.
