Lesley and Al Kroach have a long history working together with different mediums. Their journey to creating art together started in the 1970s when they fell in love with the world of stained glass. Since then, they have evolved through painting, printmaking, photography and creating whimsical vintage clocks.
Lesley graduated as an illustrator from art college and has worked as a graphic designer for over 10 years. Presently, she has been an interior design consultant in Toronto for more than 35 years. She has seen her paintings and serigraphs on display at art shows and galleries and has hosted art shows on Stoney Lake, bringing local artists together.
Al is an avid photographer fascinated by the way in which the simplest of subjects can be given a whole new dimension with the right shot. He has adapted his photography with digital and mixed media to make unique and interesting pieces.
Today, Lesley and Al have arrived at fused glass. It all started when they were spending the winter in Florida - only for the weather to take a turn and force them inside. They discovered a local glass studio and instantly felt the passion ignite.
Since then, Lesley and Al have taken courses across North America and have built an impressive studio at their lake house on Stoney Lake.
